This Houdini FX Basic training is designed for all 3D artists who want to get a thorough and comprehensive introduction to Houdini FX with all its working techniques and contexts. It does not matter if you own a commercial Houdini FX license or a cheap Houdini Indie Version.
After this training you have understood the basic principles of Houdini FX. You are able to create and animate first scenes including modeling, lights, texturing and rendering (Mantra). Also, a first insight into working with simulations is given.
Training Course – Houdini FX – vfx tools
This Houdini FX VFX-Tools Training is designed for all 3D artists, who want to get a through and comprehensive introduction to the various simulation tools of Houdini. Particle simulations, fluids, volumes (smoke, fire, dust) and their interactions are developed in order to create complex vfx-shots. Of course, also the basics of shot planing, layering and compositing are discussed. It does not matter if you own a commercial Houdini FX license or a cheaper Houdini Indie version.
After this training, you know the basics for working with the VFX-tools in Houdini FX and are able to plan and implement your own VFX-shots.
Training Course – Houdini FX MotionGraphics & Abstracts
This Houdini FX motion graphics training is aimed at all 3D Artists who want to get a sound and comprehensive introduction to Houdini FX with a strong emphasis in Motion Graphics, Abstracts and Procedural Art. An introduction to the basic working methods of Houdini will be given.

After this training you have understood the basic paradigms of Houdini FX and the programming language VEX. You then can plan your own scripts and extend the functionality of the existing nodes in the different working areas of Houdini FX.

This training is for 3D Artists who want to learn the powerful Animation & Rigging System of Houdini FX. In addition to classic animation and rigging methods, special attention is paid to the procedural approach in creating assets. In this training you can choose if you want to put an emphasis on character animation or on technical animation. In this training, you will learn to use this high-performance renderer in your production in a practical way. You’ll learn the basics of V-Ray’s render architecture, as well as integration with Houdini FX.
